Transcription factors (TFs) are key molecules in regulating genetic expression by binding to specific target sites located on the DNA. Indeed they repress or activate the transcription of genes. Here the author develops a computational approach to model single molecular events and he obtains quantitative evaluations of TFs kinetics. He then applies his methodology to model the embryo development and DNA repair.
